Excited to have a halal Chinese option in Sacramento! The staff is very friendly, respectful and welcoming . We have always ordered take out and it's still hot by the time it comes to us (we live 25 mins away) my favorites are mandarin chicken and generals chicken. I also enjoy their bbq chicken chowmein . We were told by staff that everything is made from scratch, even the sauces . We are so grateful to have a Halal Chinese option, thank you!

I'm usually a bit weary to try new Chinese places but there's always cars parked here so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Egg Flower soup which had was full of flavor, eggs and small chopped veggies, including baby corn. Less than $10 bucks and could feed at least 4 people. I ate two bowls and still had plenty for take home. The chicken wontans, i ordered extra crispy and they came out very fast, perfectly crisp and piping hot. I wasn't sure what to try and was in between the General Chicken and Walnut Shrimp so I ordered them both and Egg Fried rice w garlic. The General Chicken had a lot of red peppers but wasn't super spicy. The Walnut Shrimp was probably the best I've ever had!!! Perfect amount of crisp and sauce. Which one of the servers (Kristen i think her name was) mentioned they make all their suaces from scratch and can serve them for other meat options. (The don't offer pork btw, but that was totally fine for me) I highly recommend the Walnut Shrimp!! The rice was the only item that was just "meh", would've been nice w more egg and a little more flavor but wasn't bad. I also ordered sweet amd sour chicken to go (even though I don't believe it was on the menu) and it came out piping hot and FRESH. The only things I'd point out if I had to point cons would be: It was freezing cold outside and not much warmer inside. I forgot my jacket and was freezing the whole time. It would've been nice to have Fresh Hot tea at the table, but they offer it complimentary in "serve yourself" coffee cannister style as much as you want. It would've also been nice to have the chili variety at the table and low sodium soy sauce, but the server was very kind to bring out chili oil, Sriracha and hot mustard packets... Mason was a new server helping me but he was very attentive and Kristen was also very helpful. I over heard her telling another table how much she loved working here and how great the owners are to them. That's always refreshing to hear. At the end of the meal they offer complimentary ice cream with cinnamon wontans crisps. This is a Family Style dining place so if you're like me and eat alone you're going to end up with lots of left overs. Thankfully I have a family of 4 at home and there's still plenty for them to share even after I stuffed my face. When I asked Kristen if they offer smaller portions she mentioned that although they don't, you can get lunch in buffet style options (i think from 11-1) in case you want less, or so you don't end up with so much leftovers when wanting to try variety. I highly recommend giving this place a try and will definitely be back with my family. This is going to be our new "Go-To" for Chinese.

Everything tasted good. There are no spice levels so I had to ask. Orange chicken and sweet and sour is more on the sweet side. Mongolian beef was spicy and really good. The place looked really nice from inside as well. Glad to finally have a halal Chinese place in Sacramento. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

The food seemed to be light on flavor; putting soy sauce fixes this. Despite this, the food was still good. My favorite was the orange Chicken. Portion sizes were great. The service was good; the waitress even provided complimentary ice cream(either Vanilla or Green Tea) with my order. The place is very nice and clean. I will give this place a lot of chances due to multiple factors: 1. Halal Chinese in Sacramento county is very rare. There maybe a few South Asian establishments that have Chinese fusion dishes or sections on their menu; but a Halal restaurant that specializes in solely Chinese is rare, even in bigger metropolitan areas of the California, let alone Sacramento. 2. The management has changed and this review is about a few days after the fact. They are trying to figure things out. I would advise people to remain patient as they try to figure things out. 3. Perhaps they also ran out of ingredients or certain ingredients in the dishes maybe considered impermissible to Halal observers such as Alcohol derived ingredients. I suspect this is why the flavor appeared to be underwhelming. It is too early to say, but please keep up the good aspects(portion size, service) and fix the taste, this restaurant will be an absolute hit.

I have Covid and this is the second time this week I've ordered the wonton soup and I'm not disappointed! I love consistency with flavor and they are on point. They include pieces of bbq pork and a bit of greens in there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I love bok choy in my soup. Can't wait until I feel better to order different items from the menu!
